The special thing about blogging is that it is citizen to citizen communication. While it is sort of nice when we discover a new talent like DarkSyde, someone with the skills to be a professional journalist in his field of interest... the fact is, the sum total goodness of blogging is in the fact that EVERYONE that is blogging is taking part. It is, of course, FAR from every citizen, and personally, I don't think it's fair to call the sample representative of the whole of the citizens... and still, the citizens that are present speak for themselves. And that is good.
Nothing epitomizes this right more than the right to blog drunk. As surely as there is the right to blog, there is the right to blog drunk. Links can go whereever you like, your favorite politicians can be whomever makes sense for you personally, or not. You can be drunk, period.
Often the sober are the drunkest of all.
